"A loving community where children thrive!"

Saint James' has been an absolute delight - from the warm welcome to the end-of-term concerts. The school's values of love, respect and courage are truly embedded in everything they do.

"Some great aspects, but could be more inclusive"

We enjoy the school's emphasis on community and the variety of after-school activities. However, we do feel that the school could do more to support children with special educational needs - our son has required some extra support and it's been a bit patchy.

"A hidden gem in Southampton!"

We've been blown away by the school's commitment to Eco-school and the facilities are fantastic - the children love the playground and the forest school area. Our son is really starting to develop his reading skills too.

"A supportive environment for learning"

Although our child has moved on to secondary school, we still keep in touch with the school community. The school's approach to phonics and maths has been superb - our child made great progress during their time here.
