About St John the Baptist Church of England Primary School

We are a community primary school in Waltham Chase, Hampshire, and serve the parish of Shedfield, which includes Waltham Chase and Shirrell Heath. Our Christian values of Courage, Compassion and Creativity form the basis of all we do as we build a learning community together. We value outdoor learning, imagination, sports and the arts and seek to help every child to find their love of learning.

"Best school ever!"

My child has been at St John the Baptist for a year now and it's been an absolute pleasure. The teachers are kind, the facilities are excellent and the values of Courage, Compassion and Creativity are really instilled in the children. We love the outdoor learning and sports programs too!

"Excellent education"

We moved to the area a year ago and were impressed by the warm welcome we received at St John the Baptist. The education is excellent, the teachers are supportive and the children's love of learning is palpable. We're grateful for the community spirit and events like the Salsa fit class!

"Wonderful school"

My child left St John the Baptist last year and we still maintain close ties with the school. The values of Courage, Compassion and Creativity really prepared my child for secondary school and we're grateful for the support from the teachers. The uniform is also really practical!

"Average experience"

My child has been at St John the Baptist for a couple of years now and we've had a mixed experience. The teachers are mostly kind and the facilities are decent, but sometimes the communication from the school could be better. The PTA is also very active which is great!
