"Great school with a wonderful community"

We moved to the area and were a bit worried about the school, but we've been really impressed with the whole community. The PTFA events are so much fun and the staff are always welcoming. My son loves the phonics program and the playground is great for him to run around. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the communication can sometimes be a bit hit-or-miss

"Love this school!"

We've been at Valentine Primary for a year now and it's been an amazing experience. The kindness and responsibility values are really evident in the way the teachers and staff treat the children. My daughter loves the STEM events and her teacher is always available to discuss her progress. Highly recommended!

"A good school, but some areas for improvement"

We left the school a few years ago, but we still keep in touch with some of the teachers. Overall, we had a good experience with the school, especially with the SEN team who were always supportive. However, we did find that the homework could be a bit too much at times and sometimes it felt like the teachers were too focused on testing rather than learning. Still, it's a good school and I'm sure they'll continue to improve
