Ormiston Meridian Academy

Ormiston Meridian Academy is a co-educational secondary school located in the Meir area of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. The school serves the communities of Meir, Meir Park, Rough Close, Normacot, and Lightwood. Originally known as Sandon High School, it became a Business and Enterprise College in the early 2000s and was the first secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent to benefit from the Building Schools for the Future programme, moving into a new £17.3 million building in 2008. The school offers a broad curriculum with specialist facilities, including a Business & Enterprise Centre and a sports hall. It is part of the Ormiston Academies Trust and has a strong reputation for academic achievement and student development. The school was rated 'Good' by Ofsted in its most recent inspection in January 2022.
