About Leigh Academy Tonbridge

Leigh Academy Tonbridge is a new, co-educational school in Tonbridge which opened its doors to its founding Year 7 students in September 2023. Its legacy school, Hayesbrook Academy has an outstanding local reputation for the quality of its care and for truly nurturing every young person in its community. The school aims to teach students to do the right thing, make courageous choices and ignite their curiosity and imagination.

"Mixed feelings"

We're still getting used to the Leigh Academy Tonbridge system, but overall we're pleased with the education our son is receiving. The International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme seems to be challenging him, and we like the emphasis on collaboration and problem-solving.

"A wonderful school for my daughter"

We're so glad we chose Leigh Academy Tonbridge for our daughter. The staff are caring and supportive, and the facilities are excellent. Our daughter is thriving here and we love the emphasis on kindness and integrity.

"A great all-round education"

Our son went to Leigh Academy Tonbridge from Year 7 to Year 13 and we were incredibly happy with his experience. The school's small size meant he was known and cared for, and the teachers were always available to support him. We'd definitely recommend it.
