About Tonbridge Grammar School

Tonbridge Grammar School is a high achieving selective grammar school with academy status, educating girls between the ages of 11 and 16 and girls and boys in the Sixth Form. Our school community encourages all students to reach their potential in a caring environment where wellbeing is the priority.

"Good school, some areas for improvement"

Overall, I'm happy with Tonbridge Grammar School, but there are a few areas where they could improve. The teaching is good, but sometimes the workload feels too high. The careers and post-school destinations programme is excellent, though - my daughter's really benefited from it.

"Excellent all-round experience"

I'm so grateful to have my daughter at Tonbridge Grammar School. The school's focus on wellbeing and support for students is outstanding, and she's really thrived in a challenging but caring environment. The facilities are excellent too - the music department is particularly impressive!

"A wonderful school experience"

My son had an amazing time at Tonbridge Grammar School - the school's values of empowering young people to be successful, happy, and resilient really shone through. He loved the range of co-curricular activities on offer and was well-prepared for university and beyond.
