Abbey Woods Academy is a proud part of Anthem, a multi-academy trust that creates ambitious and successful schools where every child thrives. We cater for approximately 200 pupils, aged 3 to 11, in beautiful and spacious grounds. We aim for high standards and outstanding achievement in a creative and fun environment.

"Wonderful school community!"

We've been part of the Abbey Woods family for 3 years now, and we couldn't be happier. The staff are so supportive and caring, and the facilities are amazing. My child loves the Spellbound program and the opportunities to learn outside of the classroom. Highly recommend!

"Mixed feelings about Abbey Woods"

We've had a bit of a mixed experience at Abbey Woods. The staff can be a bit inconsistent in their approach, and the class sizes can be a bit too large at times. However, the facilities are great, and our child loves the story museum trips. We're hoping that things will improve now that the school has been graded good by Ofsted.

"Nurturing environment for children"

We left Abbey Woods when our child moved to secondary school, but we still stay in touch with the staff and parents. The school's emphasis on the CARE values and emotional wellbeing really helped our child thrive. The Christmas Fayre is always a highlight of the year too!
