About Hawsker Cum Stainsacre Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School

We are a very small, vibrant and nurturing primary school close to the picturesque Whitby Abbey on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast. At Hawsker, we create opportunities for creativity, innovation and communication throughout the primary years. We strive to ensure that pupils at Hawsker are happy and confident individuals who demonstrate the Christian Values during their time in school and within the community.

"Best School Experience for My Child"

We have been so impressed with Hawsker Primary School. The staff are friendly and caring, and the facilities are excellent. We particularly appreciate the school's emphasis on Christian values and the way they are incorporated into daily life.

"A Great Community-Focused School"

Hawsker Primary School has been a wonderful choice for our family. We appreciate the school's focus on community and the way they encourage the children to support one another. The outdoor space is also a bonus!

"A Nice School, but Some Room for Improvement"

We have a lot of fond memories of our time at Hawsker Primary School. However, my child did struggle with the workload in Year 6, and I felt that the school could have been more supportive. That being said, the teachers are lovely, and the school has a great atmosphere.
