About Montgomerie Primary School

A small school for pupils aged four to eleven years in the heart of South Benfleet. The school aims to provide a friendly, caring and secure environment, in which all the children are valued and achieve their full potential. We value character strengths and aim for our children to be ‘strong learners’ by embedding our school drivers - ‘Possibility, Morality, Enterprise and Community’.

"Some great aspects, but room for improvement"

We've been at Montgomerie Primary for a few years now and while we've had some lovely experiences, we're not entirely satisfied. The school's values are great and the staff are usually friendly, but we've had some issues with communication and the school's willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Overall, it's an okay school, but we were expecting more.

"Best school my child could ask for!"

My daughter has been at Montgomerie Primary for a year now and we couldn't be happier! The facilities are great, the staff are friendly and the values the school teaches are wonderful. We especially love the emphasis on community and the way they encourage the children to be 'strong learners'. Highly recommend!

"Montgomerie Primary is a real gem!"

We were so happy to send our children to Montgomerie Primary and we're grateful for the experience they had there. The staff were always willing to listen and the way they supported our children's learning was fantastic. We particularly appreciated the wraparound care and the school dinners - our kids loved them!
